Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces capellini (or your preferred pasta)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of basil leaves

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Simultaneously bring a pot of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add half a package of capellini to the pot. Add cherry tomatoes to the oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook on medium high for 2 minutes and then add in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds. Add a ladle of pasta water and then the cooked pasta. (If you’re not using angel hair, don’t add the pasta until it’s 2 minutes from being done. If you need to turn the sauce off to wait on the pasta, that’s no big deal!) Finish with the basil leaves and toss until all combined and the sauce has reduced and been soaked up by the pasta. Serve and enjoy!
