Hi, friends! It feels so surreal to be writing to you in an official capacity again. Once upon a time (2013) I had a blog called Sunflowers and Sass and my favorite part about it was getting to write. Well, over a decade later and here we are. I’m so excited to be writing again!

In a world where we are constantly consuming, I want this little corner of the internet to be a safe haven for us old-fashioned gals and guys. Where hosting is a non-negotiable, happy hour is a ritual, and good food is a religion.

This page isn’t about perfectly curated dinner parties or homes designed within an inch of their life. This is about creating a relaxed atmosphere where your loved ones can sit and stay awhile with their feet kicked up. Where they can break a wine glass or spill and the world doesn’t end.

I hope that after spending a little time here, you feel the renewed exuberance to invite people into your home and heart. You’ll find that I’m passionate about a good martini, a colorful outfit, a collected home, a big bowl of pasta, and Sinatra on the record player.

I cannot express to you how elated I am to share my world with you, but I hope you have as much fun scrolling and reading as I’ve had building this.
